Yes, I have another video this week! As you can tell, I’m really liking these short fashion films. I feature a super casual look in this one, something I would wear on an everyday basis to school or to go shopping, etc. It’s kind of like my fall uniform, because you can always catch me wearing boyfriend jeans, a simple top, and a bomber jacket these days. I also decided to incorporate scenes of nature to accompany my outfit and enhance a more simple concept of an OOTD video. I hope you guys enjoy! Don’t forget to subscribe and thumbs up the video.
Mind the Gap
I decided to spice things up a bit and create a short OOTD video. The outfit I’m wearing is actually all thrifted, except for the scarf which is from Asos. I love this look because it’s so comfy with a more baggy style and it also reminds me of a chic New Yorker. I love the cute Mind the Gap logo because I immediately reminisce the days I spent exploring London and its nice underground, which is their subway, except much cleaner and better than that of New York. I hope you guys enjoy this video!
Foliage & Culottes

// The Look // Shirt- Brandy Melville, Culottes- Missguided
I am finally posting again!! I apologize that I haven’t posted in quite a bit, because of my hectic life but mainly because of my terrible time management. In this editorial, I am wearing my favorite pants. For many people, these wide, formless culottes are a miss, but for me they are definitely a hit. I call them my stylish sweatpants, but they might even be more comfy than sweatpants. The color of these is so lovely and blend in seamlessly with the garden behind me. This look is super classy, comfy, and stylish- the perfect combo. Since it was the first day of fall yesterday, I decided to incorporate the last blooming flowers and green plants of summer.
Interlaced

This look is pretty simple, but that’s because I wanted to highlight the central piece of my shirt dress. I actually made this DIY lace up shirt myself! It took quite awhile, because I wanted to make sure the eyelets didn’t fall out and the string edges didn’t fray- which is what happened the first time I attempted to make this shirt. Not to mention I probably pricked myself a million times with my needle as I sewed and almost hammered my fingers as I set the eyelets. Nonetheless, the shirt turned out pretty well. I really like the lace-up v cut, because it definitely gives an edge to the look. I paired this outfit with a more sporty and green-blue background to contrast the colors, as well as enhance the vibe of the shirt. I added some silver hoops and sunglasses, which are all simple wired metals to go along with the metal detailing of the lace up shirt.

Back To School: Style Tips
Love What You Wear
The biggest philosophy that I live by is that I always have to love what I put on my body. This is the rule that I live by all year long, even out of school, because I find it to be extremely effective. When I wear outfits that I love, I am the happiest. That sounds perhaps a bit weird or shallow, but if you think about it, what you wear is a part of self-expression and brings who you are out to the fullest. And when I am myself, I am the happiest. I’ve learned that every time I’ve worn something that isn’t at all put together, or something that I am doing purely from following school trends, I feel so out of place and uncomfortable. This ties into my next rule of never following trends just purely because everyone else is doing it.
Don’t Follow Trends You Don’t Like
Following trends is okay, if you are in love with the trend, but if you see all the girls in your school wearing something that isn’t something you would otherwise wear- don’t do it. I feel like I don’t really do this a lot anymore, but I know that in my previous experiences I have made many mistakes, purchasing things and dressing in a way that isn’t me at all, looking like just another girl from my school. To be honest, I do have occasional tendencies to cave in, yet I know now after repeatedly making the same wrong decisions and afterwards feeling very regretful- do not follow trends that you don’t like!!
Be Confident In What You Wear
Another very important piece of advice is to always feel confident in what you are wearing. You may see something totally wacky and love it, but you can either disregard what others think of it or you feel very subconscious while wearing it. Although you may have loved the piece, not everyone can have an immense amount of confidence all the time. It’s good to always feel confident, because confidence is the secret trick to pulling off clothes; however, sometimes clothes are the ones who provide confidence, so before you purchase or wear something to school make sure you feel good.
Put In Some Effort
Sometimes thinking about what you wear is good. Not necessarily spending all of your energy and time into planning your outfits, but maybe dedicating a bit of time each night. I learned that this tip allows me to be faster in the mornings, when I am already rushing my butt off. Although I know you probably think that sweats are the easiest uniform like outfit to just mindlessly toss on everyday, but when you allocate time to think about the next day’s outfit, it also helps take your mind off things in the evenings when you need a break from all the school work and stress.
I hope these quick tips helped you somewhat- whether they just reiterated something you already live by or if you gained something new. Good luck this year!! Because no matter how rough the year is, we’ll all survive.

The City of My Dreams

<<THE LOOK>> Romper- Dor L Dor, Sheer Top– Thrifted, Shoes– Nike Air Force 1s, Choker- Lana Para, Sunglasses– Dolce and Gabanna
This scene looks familiar doesn’t it? I’m standing in front of the city skyline again. I guess this shows my inability to separate myself from my favorite city. I love this editorial because I seem to be standing amongst the tall skyscrapers, as an even taller skyscraper myself. The outfit that I styled is pretty minimalistic (classic mega babe), with blacks and whites. The different light layers of clothing, including the bralette, made the outfit more interesting and dimensional. I also love how the choker with the silver ring and the Nike Air Force 1s give the outfit an edgier glam look.
