Alexa Chung is honestly such a mega babe. She is so talented and clearly has amazing style. Everything she does, from modeling on the runway, to releasing her own book, etc. has me in awe. Her style is a really minimalistic, classic, city girl kind of style, being not too edgy but not bohemian- so perfectly in the middle. Her outfits are very put together and always classy and cute. I decided to shop for pieces that would fit under her style and mostly affordable for everyone to purchase. Although some pieces might be more expensive, you can find them anywhere, as any leather jacket or chelsea boot, for example, would work. I hope you find this helpful and helps you the next time you shop!
cherry bomb
The Look:
Shirt // Aritzia
Denim // Nordstrom
Shoes // Doc Martens
I styled this outfit, knowing that I would be shooting in an entire park of cherry blossoms. It was so lovely, walking down rows and rows of pink and it was such lovely weather outside as well. I wore the top with the pink detailing and very simple design to stand out amongst the busier image of cherry blossoms and paired it with a classic denim skirt and Docs.

now & forever
The Look:
Dress // Forever 21
Denim Jacket // Vintage
Boots // Bandolino
Accessories // Forever 21
A black slip is one of the many must-haves that should belong in a girl’s wardrobe. This black slip has a bohemian feel to it with the black lace detailing at the end, so I accessorized with silver jewelry which had a boho vibe to them as well.

corals & coffee
The Look:
Blouse // Free People
Tank // Topshop
Denim // Ditto
Shoes // Doc Martens
Since it’s spring, I decided that I would have to start wearing color, so I paired this coral colored blouse with light wash jeans, which gives off a cute and bright looking feel.

rooftops and ripped jeans
The Look:
Top // Dor L Dor
Jeans // Hollister
Accessories // Forever 21
Shoes // Adidas
This outfit was another casual, but classic look. Of course I wore my favorite boyfriend jeans with my Adidas Superstars. The ribbed material of the off-the shoulder top is a great piece for spring, and really pairs well with layered necklaces, being that the cut goes straight across.

NYC: FIT & Soho
Yesterday I went on a day trip to the city, which was so fun. By the end of the day, I could barely walk, but it was all worth it.
I started the day by visiting the FIT Museum, which I recommend to anyone interested to go, since admission is free and the exhibits are always really interesting.
Above are pictures from the first exhibit I saw. It was a Yves Saint Laurent and Halston mash-up, and started out with a timeline of both their careers. In the larger room, it was like a showcase of the two designers’ lines throughout their lives and much of their work was placed side by side. Some of their work was actually quite similar and it was great being time-warped back to the 70s.
The following exhibit was called Faking It, which displayed replicas of designer items compared side to side with the original designer item. The picture on the right shows the Homies shirt and Ain’t Laurent Without Yves, and told of the debate of whether or not the creative twist on the shirt was copying the original. The same with Moschino’s McDonalds inspired line, with people arguing if the trademark company’s designs could be used.
The last exhibit was called Lauren Bacall: The Look. I really admire her cool confidence and her style. From the short clips that they showed, I can tell that she was such a lovely person.
Cute street and shop that I walked by.
I had lunch at Jack’s Wife Freda. So good.
I ended the day with a lot of shopping. I went to The Reformation (above left), Topshop (above right), Brandy Melville, Aritzia, Urban Outfitters, and a lot more.
