I made this quick vintage inspired lookbook featuring very 90s and 70s pieces. I hope everyone enjoys watching!
Culottes, Skinny Scarf, Beret, Fur Vest, Peasant Blouse, Flare Pants, Choker Top, Denim Skirt, Ringer Top, Romper, Striped Top , Twill Skirt
The 70’s had one of the best eras of fashion, and a lot of it is making a comeback in today’s fashion scene, as well as in my own wardrobe. Flare jeans, bell bottoms, and culottes are a big 70’s inspired trend. The 70’s was all about a free, wild look and I think these really give off that style. Also, loose blouses, and tops are very bohemian and free. If you’re more into the statement, retro look, then ringer tees and higher necked t-shirts are nice, especially when paired with a suede or denim button-down skirt. I love 70’s accessories as well, from velvet chokers to berets. These boho and retro looks are perfect for upcoming music festivals and for the upcoming spring.
These are a few things I have been heart eyeing lately.
Diptyque Candles– These are probably the best candles of all time. They have such a sophisticated aroma that isn’t too sweet or strong. The Diptyque candles are perfect for aesthetic room decor pieces.
Dior So Real Sunglasses– These sunglasses have been so popular recently, seen being worn on bloggers, celebrities, etc. and I can see why. They are so unique and such a look. I recently got a very similar pair and I am absolutely in love.
Calvin Klein Bra and Brief– This set has a boyish, minimalistic feel, which nicely matches my personal style. It comes in black, white, and gray- basically the only colors I wear.
Common Projects Sneakers– I have always been on the hunt for a nice, solid color pair of trainers. These are simple, yet versatile and minimalistic. The leather material is so sleek and high quality, which justifies the higher price tag.
Luv AJ Earrings– Although I currently do not own any jewelry from Luv AJ, it is definitely one of my favorite jewelry brands. All of the pieces are edgy, gorgeous, and unlike any other. These earrings add a stylish twist onto the classic hoop earring.
Topshop Skinny Scarf– This 70’s inspired scarf may not be able to keep you warm, but it’s such a nice accessory to top many outfits, whether in the summer or in the winter.
Wildflower Marble Phone Case– Wildflower cases makes really nice phone accessories, but I find this marble one to be my favorite. As you can tell, it also matches my whole monochromatic aesthetic.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! To get you ready for all the holiday parties and for your NYE, I complied this covet and a list of ideas/tips for the perfect holiday party look.
(Faux) furs are perfect to pair with any piece, whether it’s a dress or jumpsuit. They are not only super cozy, but also act as a statement piece. This comfy outwear piece comes in a shaggy or animal-like material and the styles range to accommodate to a dressier or more casual outfit.
Velvet is definitely my favorite material. It is absolutely stunning- soft, elegant, with a unique texture. It looks great as dresses, flare pants, tops, etc. Velvet is a nice way to dress for any event, especially for the holiday season. It’s not too glam nor too plain, really making it such an ideal material for the main piece of your outfit.
Slips and body-con dresses are classic holiday looks. They are simple, yet gorgeous and easy to pair with a fur coat or a nice pair of cutout or strappy heels.
Two piece sets and jumpsuits are also favorites of mine of holiday parties. They are super chic and modern, versus a more girly dress. Even just pairing a bralette with high waisted flare pants is a super cute and edgy look- an easy last minute look to put together.
// The Look // Vintage Denim Jacket, Vintage Slip, Nordstrom Boots
It may be winter, but it was actually completely appropriate to wear this, as it was almost 70 degrees this day. It’s so nice that winter isn’t as frigid as before, and for those of you living in places like California or Florida, you’re probably totally used to it. I love the white slip- a definite staple in your wardrobe. The denim jacket is what I go for when I don’t want something as edgy as a bomber or leather jacket. Also, I love how these knee high boots pair with the dress, and you can see other ways on how I styled knee high boots here. And did I mention how nice the sunset is in the background? My outfit coordinated nicely with the pinks and purples of the sky with it’s minimal palette and feminine touch.

The Look: Topshop Top, Nordstrom Rack Pants, Guess Boots
This outfit is super simple, but I love each piece. The laced up top and chains on the boots are details that really add edge, as well as the leather leggings, that are so chic and bold. I wore this outfit while photographing my friend Sarah (check out my work here) and hiking, and the outfit was very comfortable, but at the same time fashionable. This outfit again exemplified the monochromatic, casual style that most of my outfits fall under, being that fashion is all about looking cute, while feeling good.
