I will be jet-setting off to Italy today, so I decided to curate three outfits inspired by three of the major Italian cities. The first outfit is very classy, while the bomber adds an artistic flare. The bomber is by Gucci, which is a very Italian brand, so the detailing and the colors remind me of a Renaissance painting with oriental influences. This outfit would enhance the hometown of art and architecture of Florence, since it is nicely structured with a dominating soft, satin fabric. The second outfit is more retro with a blush, pink palette and different embellishments. This would in a way contrast the streets of water in Venice, while still fittingly matching the architecture of the smaller, Mediterranean inspired infrastructure. The entire city of Venice is so romantic and peaceful, so this outfit continues the romantic aspect while giving a bit of edge without being too bold. Finally, for the third outfit, I created a very minimalistic look to embody Milan. Milan being one of the world’s major capitals has some of the greatest fashions, so you can find so many stylish people all around the city. I chose to create a minimal and classy look to fit Milan’s aesthetic, modern, toned down color palettes, etc. For my trip to Italy, I will be visiting many cities including Milan, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, and Venice, so be sure to stay tuned for some travel/fashion diaries!
